  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  3. Cut the Hawaiian rolls into bite-sized cubes and place them evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, sugar, and salt until well combined.
  5. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the cubed rolls, ensuring all pieces are well soaked.
Baking
  1. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15–20 minutes until the top is golden brown and the custard is set.
Serving
  1. Allow the bake to cool for a few minutes before serving.
  2. Top with fresh fruit, whipped cream, or a drizzle of maple syrup, and enjoy your delicious creation!

Notes

Use day-old rolls for better soaking; experiment with flavors and add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days.
