Ingredients

For the Chicken Balls
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs can use seasoned or panko
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional) for garnish
For the Garlic Butter Sauce
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2-3 cloves additional minced garlic for the sauce

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, oregano, salt, pepper, and optional parsley. Mix until well combined but take care not to overmix.
  2. Scoop out small amounts of the chicken mixture and roll them into balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Making the Garlic Butter Sauce
  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the additional minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (around 1-2 minutes).
Serving
  1. When the chicken balls are ready, transfer them to a serving dish and drizzle the garlic butter sauce on top. Garnish with more parsley if desired and serve hot!

Notes

For perfect chicken balls, use fresh ground chicken for the best flavor and texture. You can freeze uncooked chicken balls for longer storage. To reheat, use the oven or microwave accordingly.
