  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, add the sour cream, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
  2. Stir in the chopped fresh dill and minced garlic.
  3. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
  4. Let the sauce sit in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to meld flavors, if desired.
  5. Drizzle over cooked salmon fillets and enjoy.

Notes

Fresh dill is highly recommended for the best flavor. This sauce can be made ahead of time and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. For a lighter sauce, replace half of the sour cream with Greek yogurt.
