  • 4 cups watermelon, cubed and seeded Use ripe watermelon for the best flavor.
  • 2-3 tablespoons lime juice Adjust according to taste.
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar Optional, for added sweetness.
  • 1 pinch salt Enhances flavor.

Preparation
  1. Start by cubing your seeded watermelon into small pieces to make blending easier.
  2. In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon, lime juice, optional sweetener (honey or sugar), and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste your watermelon mixture. If you find it needs more sweetness, feel free to add a bit more honey or sugar to your liking and blend again briefly to mix.
  4. Carefully pour the blended mixture into your ice pop molds, leaving a little space at the top.
  5. Insert wooden sticks into the molds for stability.
  6. Place the molds in the freezer and allow them to set for about 4-6 hours or until completely solid.
  7. Once frozen, remove the ice pops from their molds. You can run them under warm water for a few seconds if they are hard to release.

Notes

Store in the freezer in an airtight container or plastic wrap for up to 3 months. Allow standing at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying to maintain texture.
