Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the ground turkey or sausage and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- Open the can of biscuit dough and cut the biscuits into quarters. Place them in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spreading them out evenly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until combined.
Assembly
- Sprinkle the cooked meat evenly over the biscuit pieces in the baking dish.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers, ensuring everything is coated.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, followed by the gravy, ensuring every inch is covered.
Baking
- Pop the dish into your preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are set.
- Let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve warm!
Notes
Customize your fillings with favorite veggies or spicy cheese. Allow the casserole to rest before slicing for easier serving. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
