Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 large large, soft flour tortillas Work best for wraps
  • 1 cup sliced or shredded turkey breast Can use deli turkey or cooked turkey
  • 1 cup chopped romaine or iceberg lettuce For added crunch
  • 1 medium sliced tomato Ripe and fresh
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced (optional) Adds creaminess
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese For extra flavor
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing Can substitute with different flavors
  • Salt and pepper To taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Gather all your ingredients. Wash and slice the tomatoes, chop the lettuce, and slice the avocado if using.
  2. Warm the tortillas in a skillet over low heat for about 30 seconds on each side to make them more pliable.
  3. Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread a generous tablespoon of ranch dressing evenly over the center of the tortilla.
  4. Place turkey slices over the ranch dressing, followed by chopped lettuce, tomato slices, cheddar cheese, and any additional toppings like avocado.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, then fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
  6. Cut the wrapped tortilla in half and serve immediately, or wrap it in foil for an on-the-go meal.

Notes

For a balanced meal, serve with baked sweet potato fries or a side salad. Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in a skillet to avoid sogginess. You can substitute turkey with grilled chicken or hummus for vegetarian options.
