Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Combine the flour with baking soda and gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips, M&M's, and chopped nuts.
Baking
- Drop large spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until edges begin to brown.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
