Ingredients
  

Salad Base
  • 4 pieces ripe tomatoes, diced Choose fresh and high-quality tomatoes.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Can roast garlic for a sweeter flavor if preferred.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped Fresh herbs can add color and flavor.
Dressing
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adjust to taste.
  • to taste salt Add more if needed.
  • to taste black pepper Adjust according to preference.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, dice them into bite-sized pieces, and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mince the garlic and finely chop the red onion. Add these to the bowl with the tomatoes, mixing well to distribute the flavors.
  3. Chop the fresh parsley and add it to the bowl for added flavor and color.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the mixture, then season with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to coat all ingredients.
  5. Taste your salad and adjust seasoning with more salt or lemon juice if necessary.
  6. Serve immediately while fresh, or let it sit for a few minutes to meld the flavors.

Notes

Store salad in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 2-3 days. Not recommended for freezing due to texture changes.
