Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Blend until creamy and well-combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to your wet mixture, stirring until completely incorporated.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Place them about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until they start to turn golden.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie lightly as soon as they come out of the oven.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
For a thicker cookie, chill the dough for an hour before baking. Store in an airtight container for maximum freshness. They can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
