  • 1 cup pastry cream Prepare in advance and let cool.
  • 2 cups mixed fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries) Wash and prepare fruit before starting.
  • 1/4 cup apricot jam Used for glaze.
  • 1 tablespoon water Used to thin the glaze.

Preparation
  1. If using a pre-made tart shell, remove it from packaging and let it come to room temperature.
  2. For homemade, roll out dough, shape it in a tart pan, and bake as instructed until golden brown.
Making the Pastry Cream
  1. Prepare pastry cream beforehand and let it cool.
Assembling the Tart
  1. Spoon the cooled pastry cream into the pre-made tart shell, spreading it evenly.
  2. Decoratively arrange the mixed fresh fruits on top of the pastry cream.
Preparing the Glaze
  1. In a small saucepan, mix apricot jam and water together. Heat on low until melted.
  2. Brush the glaze over the fruit for a shiny finish.
Chilling
  1. Allow the assembled tart to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best freshness, serve the tart the same day it’s made. Keep the tart shell separate until just before serving if preparing in advance. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.
