Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the frozen hash browns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, chopped onions, melted butter, salt, and pepper. Stir well until everything is evenly coated.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Once done, remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
