Main Ingredients
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, spinach, onions) Use a mix of your favorite vegetables.
  • 1 cup cheese (e.g., feta, cheddar) Choose a cheese that melts well.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For sautéing the vegetables.
  • to taste salt and pepper To season the dish.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, incorporate the chopped vegetables. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and fragrant.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt and pepper until well combined and fluffy.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables in the skillet. Stir in the cheese, making sure it’s evenly distributed.
Cooking
  1. Allow the frittata to cook on the stovetop for about 4-5 minutes until the edges begin to set.
  2. Transfer the skillet to your preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the frittata is fully set and slightly golden on top.
  3. Once baked, remove the frittata from the oven. Let it rest for a few minutes, slice into wedges, and serve warm.
