  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Dressing
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the broccoli heads thoroughly and chop them into bite-sized pieces.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, diced red onion, shredded cheddar cheese, raisins, and sunflower seeds. Toss gently to mix.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the salad mixture and stir until all ingredients are coated.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let flavors meld.

Notes

For a protein boost, consider adding diced bell peppers or chickpeas. Avoid adding too much dressing as it can make the salad soggy. Best enjoyed fresh, though leftovers can be refrigerated for 3-5 days. Do not freeze the salad.
