  • 1 cup plain yogurt Can substitute with Greek yogurt for a thicker texture
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala Adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed is recommended
  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro For garnish
  • Salt to taste Enhance flavor
  • Chili flakes Optional, add for heat

Preparation
  1. Begin by measuring out all your ingredients to set yourself up for success.
  2. In a mixing bowl, add the cream cheese and plain yogurt. Blend them together until smooth and well combined.
  3. Add the tandoori masala and lemon juice to the mixture. Stir well to incorporate the spices evenly.
  4. Add salt to taste and fold in the chopped cilantro. If you enjoy heat, sprinkle in chili flakes to your preference.
  5. Transfer the mix to a serving bowl, and refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld together.
  6. Serve with fresh veggies, crackers, or naan and enjoy!

Notes

You can use low-fat cream cheese or Greek yogurt for a lighter version while keeping all the flavor. Prepare a day in advance for enhanced flavor.
