Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast, boneless and skinless Cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup Sweet Chili Sauce Ensure it's Halal-certified
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil For cooking
  • Salt and Pepper Salt and Pepper To taste
For the Wraps
  • 4 pieces Tortillas Preferably whole wheat or corn
For the Veggies
  • 1 medium Carrot Shredded
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers 1 red and 1 green, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup Cabbage Shredded, optional for added crunch
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro Chopped, optional for garnish
  • 1 piece Lime Juice from 1 lime

Method
 

Marinate the Chicken
  1. In a bowl, combine the chicken strips with sweet chili sauce, salt, and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Cook the Chicken
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken, cooking for about 6-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Prepare Your Veggies
  1. While the chicken cooks, slice the bell peppers, shred the carrots, and cabbage if using.
Assemble the Wraps
  1. Warm the tortillas briefly. Place a generous amount of chicken in the center of each tortilla, adding your favorite vegetables on top. Drizzle with extra sweet chili sauce and lime juice.
Wrap It Up
  1. Fold the sides of the tortilla, then roll it tightly from the bottom up. Cut in half if desired, and enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions: Use grilled shrimp or marinated tofu for a different protein. Ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F (75°C) for safe consumption. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
