  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard Check that it's made with halal ingredients.
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Wash the jalapenos under cold running water. Cut off the stem ends, slice them in half, and remove the seeds if you prefer a milder sauce.
  2. Finely chop the jalapenos and set them aside.
Mixing
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the honey and Dijon mustard. Use a whisk to blend until completely smooth.
  2. Stir in the finely chopped jalapenos, apple cider vinegar, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
Seasoning
  1. Taste your sauce and adjust with salt and pepper as needed. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Freezing is an option for up to three months. Reheat gently on low heat.
