Ingredients
  

For the Meatballs
  • 1 pound ground beef Preferably lean
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs Preferably plain
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Noodles and Sauce
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 2 cups beef or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce Optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For browning meatballs
  • Fresh parsley to taste Fresh parsley, for garnish

Method
 

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed. Roll into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides (about 5–7 minutes).
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
  5. In a saucepan, combine beef or vegetable broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. In a large bowl, mix together cooked meatballs, egg noodles, and creamy sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For quicker prep, consider using pre-made meatballs or frozen noodles. Experiment with different cheeses for added richness.
