Preparation and Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until well mixed. Roll into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides (about 5–7 minutes).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- In a saucepan, combine beef or vegetable broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce (if using). Bring to a gentle simmer.
- In a large bowl, mix together cooked meatballs, egg noodles, and creamy sauce until evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
Notes
For quicker prep, consider using pre-made meatballs or frozen noodles. Experiment with different cheeses for added richness.
