Preparation
  1. Start by gathering all your ingredients. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes into smaller pieces for easy mixing.
  2. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the shredded mozzarella. Stir in the chopped sun-dried tomatoes, salt, and pepper until everything is evenly mixed.
Assembly
  1. Spread the cheese mixture generously on one slice of bread. Top with fresh basil leaves, add the second slice of bread on top, and press down gently.
Cooking
  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once the butter is bubbling, carefully add your sandwich to the pan.
  2. Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it’s golden brown and the cheese is melted.
