Ingredients
  

For the Oat Crust
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Packed
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
For the Strawberry Filling
  • 2 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
  4. Pour in the melted butter and stir until crumbly.
  5. In another bowl, mix sliced strawberries with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cornstarch.
  6. Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  7. Spread the strawberry mixture over the oats, then sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top.
Baking
  1. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the strawberry filling is bubbling.
  2. Allow the bars to cool completely in the dish before slicing.

Notes

You can substitute strawberries with other fruits like blueberries or raspberries for a different flavor. Consider using coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option.
