Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, and salt.
- Pour in the melted butter and stir until crumbly.
- In another bowl, mix sliced strawberries with lemon juice, granulated sugar, and cornstarch.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Spread the strawberry mixture over the oats, then sprinkle the remaining oat mixture on top.
Baking
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the strawberry filling is bubbling.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the dish before slicing.
Notes
You can substitute strawberries with other fruits like blueberries or raspberries for a different flavor. Consider using coconut oil instead of butter for a dairy-free option.
