Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup lemon juice (preferably freshly squeezed)
  • 1 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 5 cups water
  • Ice (as needed)
  • Mint leaves for garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, mash the sliced strawberries to release their juices. Set aside to let the flavors develop.
  2. In a large pitcher, combine the cup of fresh lemon juice with the sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  3. Add the mashed strawberries to the pitcher, followed by the 5 cups of water. Stir the mixture until thoroughly combined.
  4. Refrigerate the Strawberry Lemonade for at least 30 minutes.
  5. When ready to serve, fill glasses with ice, pour in your lemonade, and garnish with mint leaves.

Notes

For berry variations, you can substitute strawberries with raspberries or blueberries. Chill your water and lemons for an extra refreshing drink. If storing leftovers, place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
