Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the softened butter until the mixture resembles coarse cbs. Gradually stir in the milk until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and diced strawberries until smooth and slightly chunky.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and gently roll or pat it into a rectangle about 1/2-inch thick.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough. Roll the rectangle tightly into a log, starting from one long end.
- Cut the roll into 12 equal pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Topping and Baking
- In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, flour, and melted butter until cbly. Sprinkle the cble over the cut rolls.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow the rolls to cool slightly, then serve warm, perhaps drizzled with an extra sweetness of frosting or glaze if desired.
Notes
