Ingredients
  

For the Cheesecake Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure it's at room temperature for smoother mixing.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream, divided Use 1 cup for whipping and 1 cup for the cheesecake filling.
For the Layers
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries Fresh strawberries work best.
  • 1 cup crushed graham crackers For the base of the trifle.

Preparation of Cheesecake Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. In another bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy whipping cream and beat until stiff peaks form, about 3-4 minutes on medium speed.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
Layering
  1. In a large clear glass bowl or individual dessert cups, start by adding a layer of crushed graham crackers on the bottom.
  2. Follow this with a layer of the cheesecake mixture, then a layer of sliced strawberries. Repeat until your dish is filled, finishing with a dollop of whipped cream on top.
Chilling
  1. Cover your trifle and place it in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to let the flavors meld and the dessert to set.
Serving
  1. When ready to enjoy, garnish with additional strawberries on top, and dig in!

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days. This dessert does not freeze well. To keep layers crunchy, assemble the trifle no more than a few hours before serving.
