Ingredients
  

Cookie Base
  • 1 cup butter, softened Must be at room temperature
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened Must be at room temperature
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Mix-Ins
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips Can substitute with semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter and cream cheese until creamy and smooth.
  3. Gradually mix in the granulated sugar and packed brown sugar until well combined.
  4. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually blend the dry mixture into the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  7. Gently stir in the chopped strawberries and white chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  2. Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden.
Cooling
  1. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

Store the cookies at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Thaw at room temperature or microwave for 10-15 seconds before serving.
