  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 cup yogurt (plain or flavored as per your preference)
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or any Halal-friendly plant-based alternative)
Sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional; adjust sweetness to taste)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Make sure your strawberries are hulled and sliced. Peel the banana and cut it into chunks.
Blending
  1. In a blender, add the sliced strawberries and banana pieces.
  2. Pour in the yogurt and milk. If you choose to add honey for extra sweetness, drizzle it in now.
  3. Start the blender on low settings and gradually increase to high. Blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture is velvety smooth.
  4. Give your smoothie a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more honey and blend again for a few seconds.
  5. Pour the smoothie into glasses, and feel free to garnish with a whole strawberry or a banana slice on the rim for a fun touch!

Notes

For a thicker texture, use frozen strawberries and bananas instead of fresh ones. If you are lactose intolerant or prefer non-dairy options, almond milk or coconut yogurt can be great substitutes. To add nutrients, sneak in some spinach or kale without affecting the flavor.
