Preparation
- Make sure your strawberries are hulled and sliced. Peel the banana and cut it into chunks.
Blending
- In a blender, add the sliced strawberries and banana pieces.
- Pour in the yogurt and milk. If you choose to add honey for extra sweetness, drizzle it in now.
- Start the blender on low settings and gradually increase to high. Blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture is velvety smooth.
- Give your smoothie a quick taste. If you prefer it sweeter, add a bit more honey and blend again for a few seconds.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses, and feel free to garnish with a whole strawberry or a banana slice on the rim for a fun touch!
Notes
For a thicker texture, use frozen strawberries and bananas instead of fresh ones. If you are lactose intolerant or prefer non-dairy options, almond milk or coconut yogurt can be great substitutes. To add nutrients, sneak in some spinach or kale without affecting the flavor.
