Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries If using fresh strawberries, wash and remove stems.
  • 1 large ripe banana Peel and break into chunks.
Dairy
  • 1 cup yogurt Can be plain or flavored.
  • 1/2 cup milk Use dairy or plant-based milk as preferred.
Sweeteners and Ice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional, adjust to taste.
  • to taste ice cubes Optional for extra chill.

Preparation
  1. Wash fresh strawberries, remove the stems, and slice them in half.
  2. Peel the ripe banana and break it into chunks.
Blending
  1. In a blender, add the strawberries, banana, yogurt, and milk.
  2. If you like your smoothie cold, toss in a few ice cubes.
  3. Blend on high until you achieve a creamy, smooth consistency (about 30-60 seconds).
  4. Taste and add more honey if you like it sweeter.
  5. Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve.
  6. Optional: Top with chia seeds or fresh fruit slices before serving.

Notes

Enjoy your strawberry banana smoothie fresh. If there are leftovers, store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but shake or stir before drinking. Not ideal for freezing due to texture change.
