Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the melted butter. Mix well until combined.
- Add the beaten egg and vanilla extract, and stir until smooth.
- Pour in the sugar and mix until evenly distributed.
- In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold the chopped strawberries into the batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for about 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick entered into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the loaf to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best flavor, allow your bread to cool before slicing. Store wrapped in plastic wrap or in an airtight container at room temperature for 3-4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
