  • 1 pound ribeye or sirloin steak Other meats like chicken or shrimp can be used.
  • 2 cups diced potatoes Red or baby potatoes work well.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For drizzling over steak and potatoes.
  • 3 cloves garlic Minced garlic adds flavor.
  • to taste salt and black pepper Season according to preference.
  • to taste fresh herbs (rosemary or thyme) Add for extra flavor.
  • optional vegetables (such as bell peppers or onions) Feel free to add your favorite veggies.

Method
 

Preparation, Cooking and Serving
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Dice your steak into bite-sized pieces, wash and cube your potatoes, mince the garlic, and chop fresh herbs.
  3. Tear off large squares of aluminum foil. Place a portion of diced potatoes in the center, top with steak, drizzle olive oil, add minced garlic, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss in herbs.
  4. Fold the edges of the foil over the mixture to create a sealed packet.
  5. Place the packets on a baking sheet and cook in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can grill them.
  6. Carefully open the foil packs and serve directly or transfer to plates.

Notes

Ensure the foil is tightly sealed to retain moisture. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
