  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 pieces jalapeño peppers, minced Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 piece lime, juiced Juice of 1 lime.

Preparation
  1. Start by washing your vegetables. Dice the tomatoes, finely chop your onion, and mince the garlic and jalapeños. Don’t forget to remove the seeds from the jalapeños if you want a milder salsa.
  2. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced jalapeños, and garlic.
  3. Toss in your freshly chopped cilantro and squeeze the juice of one lime over the mixture. Add salt to taste, mixing all the ingredients well.
  4. Give your salsa a taste and adjust the salt or lime juice based on your preference.
  5. Allow the salsa to chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips!

Notes

For added variety, consider including diced avocados or mango. Adjust the number of jalapeños based on your spice tolerance, starting with one if unsure. Ensure to use the freshest ingredients for optimal flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days in the fridge.
