Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese, cream cheese, diced jalapeños, and sour cream. Add garlic powder and onion powder, and sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
- Use a hand mixer or a spatula to combine everything until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Transfer the mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes before serving with tortilla chips.
Notes
For best results, serve fresh straight out of the oven. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 3-4 days or frozen for up to two months.
