Ingredients
  

For the chicken marinade
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For marinating chicken
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder Adjust spice level as preferred
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • to taste Salt and pepper
For the wraps
  • 2 pieces tortillas (flour or whole wheat) Choose based on dietary preferences
  • 1 cup lettuce (shredded)
  • 1 piece tomato (sliced)
  • 1 piece avocado (sliced) Creamy and nutritious
  • to taste Salsa or ranch dressing Optional, for drizzling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Add chicken breasts and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-8 minutes on each side, until they’re cooked through and have beautiful char marks.
  3. Once done, take the chicken off the grill and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
Assembly
  1. Place a tortilla on a clean surface. Layer with shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, grilled chicken, and avocado.
  2. Drizzle with salsa or ranch dressing if desired, then wrap tightly and enjoy this flavor-packed wrap!

Notes

Store leftover wraps in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. For optimal freshness, keep ingredients separate until ready to eat. Freeze tightly wrapped for up to 1 month, thaw and reheat in a skillet.
