  • 1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce, minced Adds smoky flavor
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Slider buns
Toppings
  • Lettuce, washed and separated
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • Avocado, sliced (optional)
  • Sour cream (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with the chipotle in adobo sauce, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently.
  3. Divide the mixture into 6-8 equal portions and shape them into patties slightly larger than your slider buns.
Cooking
  1. Cook the patties on your preheated grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add cheese during the last minute if desired.
Assembly
  1. Once the sliders are cooked, place them on slider buns and top with lettuce, tomato, and avocado. Add a dollop of sour cream if desired.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a skillet or microwave.
