  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar mixture For sprinkling on top.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the top of the batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice into squares and serve.
