Preparation
- Begin by measuring out your Rice Krispies, mini marshmallows, and other ingredients to have everything ready for assembly.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add 4 cups of mini marshmallows, stirring constantly until they fully melt and form a gooey mixture. Remove from heat and add in the vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the Rice Krispies cereal into the melted marshmallow mixture until evenly coated.
- On a clean surface or parchment paper, spread the Rice Krispie mixture evenly into a rectangle about ½ inch thick.
- Sprinkle the crushed graham crackers and chocolate chips evenly over the Rice Krispie layer. Top with a handful of mini marshmallows for that extra s’mores flair!
- Carefully roll the mixture into a tight log, using the parchment paper to help you guide it. Seal the edges by pressing them gently.
- Wrap the rolled pinwheel in parchment paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to set. Once firm, slice it into equal pieces.
- Arrange the pinwheels on a serving plate, and watch as everyone goes for a bite!
Notes
For substitutions, consider using halal caramel bits instead of chocolate chips. To prevent the mixture from becoming too sticky, lightly butter your hands while shaping the pinwheels.
