Preparation
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add the cooking oil. Allow it to heat for a minute before adding the Halal ground beef.
- Season the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a spatula.
Assembling and Cooking
- On a clean surface, lay one tortilla flat. Sprinkle half of it with cheese, then add a generous layer of the cooked ground beef.
- Top with another layer of cheese and fold the tortilla over. Repeat for the remaining tortillas.
- Using the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Place the folded quesadilla in the skillet.
- Cook each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until it turns golden brown and crispy. Use a spatula to flip it carefully.
Serving
- Once cooked, take the quesadilla out and let it sit for a minute before slicing.
- Serve it hot with your favorite toppings on the side!
Notes
For a healthier twist, you can replace the beef with ground chicken or turkey. Avoid overstuffing the quesadillas to prevent messy flipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
