- In a large bowl, season the beef chuck cubes with salt, pepper, paprika, cumin, and dried thyme.
- Slice the carrots, dice the potatoes, and chop the onion. Mince the garlic.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned beef at the bottom of the slow cooker, then layer the chopped onions, garlic, carrots, and potatoes on top.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low for about 8 hours, or high for 4-5 hours.
- Once cooked, adjust seasoning as needed and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Refrigerate leftovers for up to 3-4 days; can freeze for 2-3 months.
