Preparation
- Begin by thinly slicing the flank steak, onions, and green bell peppers.

Cooking
- Place the sliced steak, onions, and bell peppers into the slow cooker.
 - Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper, then stir to combine.
 - Pour in the beef broth to the mixture.
 - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the steak is ultra-tender.
 - About 15 minutes before serving, lay the slices of provolone cheese on top of the mixture and cover to allow the cheese to melt.

Assembly
- Slice the hoagie rolls open and fill them with the steak mixture once the cheese is melted.
 - Enjoy while warm!

Notes
Consider adding mushrooms, jalapeños, or zucchini for variation. Allow meat to rest before assembly for better flavor retention. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to a month.
