Main Ingredients
  • 1.5 lbs 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 10.5 oz 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 oz 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 cup 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the cream of chicken soup on top of the chicken and sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over everything.
Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  2. The chicken is done when it’s tender and easily shredded with a fork.
Serving
  1. Once cooked, shred the chicken right in the gravy using two forks and stir everything together.
  2. Serve over your choice of mashed potatoes, rice, or even pasta.

Notes

To enhance your dish, consider using low-fat cream of chicken soup or substituting chicken breasts with thighs. Avoid overcooking the chicken for the best texture.
