Preparation
  1. Cube your chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a slow cooker, add the cubed chicken, long-grain rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, and a dash of salt and pepper. Include frozen peas if desired.

Cooking
  1. Cover the slow cooker with the lid and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  2. Once the cooking time is complete, remove the lid and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
