Preparation
- Start by trimming any excess fat from the beef ribs. Season them generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chili powder if you're using it.
Cooking
- Place the seasoned ribs in the slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce over them. Make sure to coat all the ribs well with the sauce.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, check if the ribs are fork-tender. They should fall off the bone easily when done.
Serving
- Once finished, carefully transfer the ribs to a platter. Drizzle more BBQ sauce on top if desired and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve with your choice of sides like rice, coleslaw, or grilled veggies.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the microwave or oven to maintain moisture.
