Cooking
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and let it heat until it shimmers.
- Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for about 7-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Flip the chicken and cook the other side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about another 7-10 minutes).
- Reduce the heat to low and pour the Bang Bang sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated evenly. Let it heat through for 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh green onions before serving.
Notes
For a lighter sauce, consider substituting Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. If using chicken breasts instead of thighs, adjust cooking time for juiciness. Store leftovers in an airtight container; will last 3-4 days in the fridge.
