Ingredients

Main ingredients
  • 4 pieces Chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on) For maximum flavor
  • ½ cup Bang Bang sauce A mix of mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt To taste
  • Pepper To taste
  • Green onions For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Pat the chicken thighs dry with a paper towel and season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the olive oil and let it heat until it shimmers.
  2. Place the chicken thighs skin-side down in the skillet and sear for about 7-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook the other side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about another 7-10 minutes).
  4. Reduce the heat to low and pour the Bang Bang sauce over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated evenly. Let it heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Transfer the chicken to a serving plate and sprinkle with fresh green onions before serving.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, consider substituting Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. If using chicken breasts instead of thighs, adjust cooking time for juiciness. Store leftovers in an airtight container; will last 3-4 days in the fridge.
