Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter until well combined.
- Mix in the baking soda and salt. Then, add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract, stirring until smoothly blended.
- Gently fold in the all-purpose flour until you see no white streaks, being careful not to overmix.
- Finally, fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
Baking
- Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for about 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve with love!
