For the tart
  • 1 piece pre-made tart crust You can also use a pie dish if a tart pan isn’t available.
For the filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds a refreshing zing.
For the topping
  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) Use a vibrant mix for the best presentation.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place the pre-made tart crust in a 9-inch tart pan, pressing it evenly against the sides.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the lemon juice to the cream cheese mixture and blend for an additional minute.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust and spread it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake the tart in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden.
  2. Allow the tart to cool for about 30 minutes.
  3. Once cooled, arrange the fresh mixed berries on top of the tart.
Serving
  1. Chill the tart in the refrigerator for another hour before slicing and serving cold.

Notes

To keep your tart fresh, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. For longer storage, freeze it wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil.
