  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 pieces carrots, julienned
  • 1 piece red bell pepper, sliced
  • 4 ounces rice noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey Balances out savory flavors.
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • to taste sesame seeds, for garnish
  • to taste green onions, sliced, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking the Rice Noodles
  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Chicken
  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and cook until golden brown and cooked through, around 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Stir-Frying the Vegetables
  1. In the same skillet, add the remaining sesame oil, minced garlic, broccoli, carrots, and red bell pepper. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are tender yet crisp.
Combining Everything
  1. Return the chicken to the skillet. Add cooked noodles, soy sauce, honey, and grated ginger. Toss everything together until well combined and heated through, around 2-3 minutes.
Serving and Garnishing
  1. Spoon the sesame chicken noodle mixture into bowls. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and sliced green onions for a delicious touch.

If you're looking for Halal-friendly options, consider using turkey breast instead of chicken. Alternatively, tofu can be used for a vegetarian option.
