Preparation
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.
- Add the steak cubes and sprinkle with a pinch of black pepper. Sear the steak for about 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides.
- Once the steak is cooked to a beautiful brown, remove it from the skillet and let it rest on a plate.
Cooking
- In the same skillet, add another 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Toss in the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
- Return the seared steak to the skillet with the shrimp. Pour in the soy sauce and honey, stirring well to coat everything with the rich glaze.
- Cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Serving
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Enjoy this dish hot, paired with steamed rice or your favorite side.
