Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika (if using). Whisk them together until well blended.
- Add the shrimp to the bowl and toss until evenly coated. Let sit for about 5 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the marinated shrimp and toss again to ensure each piece is covered.
Cooking
- Spread the shrimp in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the oven for about 8–10 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley if desired. Plate and serve.
Notes
For best results, choose fresh or frozen shrimp that are already peeled and deveined. Keep an eye on the shrimp while cooking to prevent overcooking.
