Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon for about 8–10 minutes. Drain any excess grease.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet with the sausage, and cook until the eggs are fully scrambled and set. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and combined.
- On a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, unroll the crescent roll dough, separating it into individual triangles.
- Place a generous scoop of the sausage and egg mixture at the wide end of each triangle and roll them up tightly, starting from the wide end and tucking in the sides.
- Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet with the tips tucked underneath and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve with a sprinkle of fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
For best results, use quality sausage and avoid overfilling the rolls to prevent bursting. Customize flavors with spices or additional veggies.
