Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In another mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3 to 4 minutes).
- Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by the vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
Mixing
- Gradually introduce the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the flour mixture, mixing just until combined.
Baking
- Spoon the batter into the cupcake liners, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Once baked, let them cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Finishing Touches
- Once the cupcakes are cool, generously drizzle salted caramel sauce on top and finish with a sprinkle of Fleur de sel.
