Preparation
- Begin by lining an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk together, stirring continuously until smooth and glossy.
- Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, pinch of salt, mini marshmallows, and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper edges and cut it into squares.
Notes
For a nut-free version, omit the nuts. You can speed up chilling by placing the fudge in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Avoid overheating the chocolate while melting.
