Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk Ensure it's sweetened for best flavor.
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows Fluffy and soft.
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts Can substitute with pecans or almonds.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Balance the sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Begin by lining an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk together, stirring continuously until smooth and glossy.
  3. Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, pinch of salt, mini marshmallows, and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  5. Place the dish in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  6. Once set, lift the fudge out using the parchment paper edges and cut it into squares.

Notes

For a nut-free version, omit the nuts. You can speed up chilling by placing the fudge in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Avoid overheating the chocolate while melting.
