- While chickpeas roast, warm your pita bread briefly in the oven or on a hot skillet.
Assembly
- Once the chickpeas are done roasting and pita is warm, take a pita bread, fill it with roasted chickpeas, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and cucumber slices.
- Drizzle generously with tzatziki sauce and squeeze lemon juice for extra flavor, if desired.
