  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
  4. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the vanilla extract.
  6. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until there are no visible flour streaks.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips, if using.
Baking
  1. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
